This is my second 3D printer. The first one I built (Herculien - Google Group Build) and I have build two other CNC mill machines in the past as well.
On my 5th print ever on the Cetus, the X axis shifted to the left by 10mm at the 30th layer of 75layers. I noticed during the print that X axis stepper was extremely hot. I could not keep my hand on it for more than 2 seconds. In my opinion it does not have to be this hot! There must be a setting where I can reduce the amperage feeding the motors. I am afraid of putting this puppy in a enclosure and it will self destruct. Please help. Thanks, Vic
BTW I already put a stick on heat sink on the stepper and still very hot
