Why are there still two forums?

So while I am not entirely sure I like the new forum, I like having two forums even less. Trying to exist on two forums is difficult, and I can never remember which posts I sent where…

So what is happening there? Which one should we use? When are we going to permanently archive the old one? Should I keep posting there in the mean time?

Not complaining - Both forums work just fine, I’m just wondering what is happening there?

It was said the old forum would be made read only after a few months; have they gone past the self imposed deadline?
