vertical zits/blobs on prints

Would like to know if there is a fix for these type of artifacts/defects on prints. Is this a slicer/software issue? or is it a mechanical issue? Anyone else having this issue?

Update. It seems that the blobs appear more often when I switch to fast printing.

I’m getting the same thing on my prints. Hardware or slicing. I am using latest UP software for printing. Anyone have this issue printing using GCODE from other slicers? Planning to try CURA slicer and print from GCODE.
