UP! Plus Wand is very slow to send task

Hello everyone.

I am very new to 3D printing and have a second hand UP! Plus.

Reported in Wand.
SN: 64031
Model: 10002

The printer prints well but Wand seems very slow to send files to the printer.
For example the print i am currently running is:
Layers: 93 (0.2mm)
Size(mm): 132.50,123.00, 18.81
Print time: 2h 23m

I saved the task file and its only 1.3MB which doesn’t seem large.

However it took 14min to send the task to the printer. This seems incredibly slow to send a relatively small file (assuming the task file is what is transferred to the printer).

I don’t really have a frame of reference so maybe I am just impatient and expecting to much from an older printer.

Does anyone know if this send time seems normal?
Is there anything that can be done to speed the transfer up?

I’ve also got this issue with my UP plus 2(M), windows 11.
Using UP Studio 2.5 the task is sent to the printer in only a few seconds, but UP Studio 3/ Wand The “send tasks to printer” progress takes a ridiculously long time. Once the task is sent it all prints fine.

I’m currently waiting for a 336 layer/ 8hour print task to upload, been waiting about half an hour and the progress bar is less than 25%. At this rates it looks like it’s going to take about 2 hours just to upload to the printer, smaller prints take 10minutes or more to upload.

I really don’t want to have to go back to using 2.5 but this issue is just not sustainable. I’d love some help getting it sorted.
