What you're looking at is the spool holder.

Assembled, it should look something like this:

wow, i had no idea. how did you figure that out? i dont recall them mentioning it anywhere.

They mentioned in in their update on 30 September, https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/854865943/cetus3d-at-199-get-all-you-need-to-start-3d-printi/posts/1695215

Darn, missed that kickstarter post.

I was using these spool holders on top of my acrylic i3

So I used 3 of the rails attached to the printer to be the rail that my spool holder could set on.

( Clearly I do things in the most complicated way possible. ;-) )

Since that's not a very good picture I decided to make the answer more complicated by creating a 3d model of my printer with the 3 rails attached...

I created this in the "3D Builder" program built into Windows 10.

Where is the round middle part for the spool holder? I didn't get that with me printer. Or do i need to print it? Where is the model then?

Sorry to piggy back on this post, but I can't create a new topic (system error).  I have these extra parts.  Anyone know what they go to?

this part is for mounting your spool holder onto the Z axis, so the spool is above the print head, this will help printing overall and especially usefull for flexible filaments.

Those holes in the aluminium are badly aligned.
