I’m experimenting with using Slic3r and GCODE to print on my Cetus, and I’m having persistent problems with stringing.
I’ve tried all the usual remedies: retraction, retraction speed, print temperature, travel speed, Z hop; in pretty much every combination I can think of, and nothing seems to make much of a difference.
There’s no stringing when I print from the Cetus software, only when I slice with Slic3r and print using the GCODE. So I know the hardware is capable of printing without the stringing.
Anyone have any suggestions that I haven’t tried yet? Anyone manage to get good print quality using GCODE?
Thanks! If I find a solution I will share it here.
