Parameters without effects

Hi everybody,

I used the Cetus3d since a week and I have problems.

The prints aren't correct because the top and bottom face aren't full !!!

All parameters I changed haven't any effect ...

There are 6 prints with differents parameters (parts 3 and 4 have been stopped before the end ...)


There all have been printed with 0.2mm nozzle and 0.1mm precision in normal mode.




The part 1 in shell Infill, the other in 80% Infill.

Parts 1 and 2 in 6 layers surface, the other in 4 layers surface.

Parts 1, 2, 3 and 4 in Wifi mode, the other in USB mode.

Parts 2, 3, 4 and 5 with Unsolid Model and Thin Wall, the others without.

Parts 4 with 4 lines support space, the other with 15 lines support space (they all have the same support ...).

Parts 1 and 2 with supports, the other without ... (they all have supports).

As you can see, there is no difference between these differents prints ... Why ???

It's like parameters had no effects !!!

And how can I do to have top and bottom faces full ?

I am wondering what kind of difference are you expecting?

Since the infill are all 80%, so they all looks pretty much the same on the corss section.

The surface layer affect the number of top and bottom layer so you cannot see the different from the photo's persepctive.

the model does not need any support, so no matter you set with support or without support, all the print have no support so no different. there are only rafts printed under the models.

The top down surface is not full may be due to under extrusion , you may try increase the printing temperature a little bit or decrease the "line width" parameter. I would actually recommend use the 0.4mm nozzle instead of the 0.2mm. Since we still on the way to optimize the 0.2mm nozzle's printing parameter there are some printing defects under certain circumstances.
