I accepted the offer of having a new version 1 extruder for my mkII printer. This extruder doesn't extrude. The stepper is never turning. I have examined it and the pins connecting to the cable are fine. Torque needed to turn the motor is increased by connecting the pins correctly. One problem is that this extruder came with only 1 nozzle, so that is a bummer.
My real problem is that version 2 (the one that came with the mkII) cuts the PLA filament and many of my prints end up failed. I am using premium PLA, not some cheap stuff.
How can I make the v2 extruder stop cutting in to the filament?
