Hi there: newbie here.
I’m helping a friend with a UP300. He is experiencing communication issues on both USB and WiFi links. I’ve had his machine for a couple of 2 days now to investigate the issue and it seems to be temperature related when connected to the host PC via the USB port. When cold all is fine, but the USB disconnects as the printer warms up: eventually the host PC does not even recognize the device when comms. is re-established.
Interestingly the printer has the 1st generation ‘W’ display module installed with the latest published firmware and using the latest version of Studio 3. Have we missed the boat in respect of getting the module replaced with the latest version?
