I have seen that the screws holding the cover in front of the extruder gear don't fit the standard wrench delivered with the printer.
Is there any description available how to clean the extruder gear?
Or is it not recommended to open this cover?

I've opened it w/o any trouble, just need a slightly smaller hex key wrench. The other thing to be aware of is that there's a bearing opposite the gear (attached to the cover) that keeps the filament pressed against the gear, make sure you don't lose that.
@Jason, I couldn't find this cover in the parts zip file, could you update w/ the latest parts including this one?
