Found online manual for assembly...needs to be a sticky

Why Cetus doesn't publish this everywhere or even put a link in our paperwork is beyond me...I found it trying to contact support.

(FYI all the contacts do is dump you back into the forums)

<click me> Cetus 3D Assembly and Manual

It's the FAQ link at the top of the page.

That said, a more useful link is the Quick Start Guide. AFAIK it can only be found inone of the recent Kickstarter updates.

It's correct and generally more accurate than the FAQ, as the FAQ references the old UP Studio software (that the Cetus software is a fork of).

Is it just me or are the assembly instructions severly lacking?  How do I put this thing together?

Is there a more up to date version of the manual? One that covers the Cetus 3D Extended, specifically? I figured  everything out with the help of random YouTube videos, but it would be nice to have a reference? Details like the ground wire were not included, for example.

I, too, felt all at sea with the instructions. Being my first 3D printer and being a 56 year old noob when assembling an electronic (or infact any type of) machine, I had to rely on YouTube vids and common sense.

I will state here, for the record, that Jason Wu in support at Cetus has been marvellous and prompt in his responses to any issues I've had.

On a seperate note, the delivery from China to Australia (my home) only took from the 19th to the 22nd of September through FedEx. That is remarkable in that the estimate was for at least five days later. So well done Cetus and FedEx.
